Today is the first day that we have had blogging capability through our office website, so I am trying it out for the first time. Jason L. Downey, DDS Dentistry has had a website since about 2000. We have tried to keep it up to date for our patients so they could always know what services we are offering in our practice.
Now we can keep it even more relevant for you as we can share content with you as it happens. So here goes…..
I have been learning today about a product called “Snap-On-Smile” It is a removable appliance that we can have made for patients that want a trial run of a smile makeover. It is completely non-invasive, meaning there are no shots, no drilling, and no discomfort. We make models of your teeth, take some photos, then send it off to the lab. It comes back in two weeks, and we snap it into place and off you go. It needs to be taken out and cleaned daily so it maintains its appearance. It should only be cleaned with water and the cleaning crystals that come with it. If you use toothpaste, it will get dull. I have been pretty impressed with what I have learned about it so far. The company says that if well taken care of it can last for 3 to 5 years.
